Earlier this year there was a debate among the inhabitants of Anse Boileau and Baie Lazare in regards, to the actual place were Lazare Picault landed on the 21st November 1742.
Therefore the National Museum of History as an educational institution has found it necessary to provide factual information with facts on the event to the public especially the youth to enable them to learn more about the event so that they can share the right information with others.
More over next Saturday 21st November 2020 will mark the 287th anniversary of the first landing of Lazare Picault in 1742.
The history talk will be conducted by Mr Tony Mathiot and it run from 18th – 20th and 24th November 2020.
